If you are considering a career change to IT, check out CompTIA’s career change microsite. For information on advancing your career in IT, use the CompTIA’s IT career path roadmap. The roadmap lists the description of each career path, median national salary, annual job postings, and the expected job growth. If you earn some of the advanced certificates from various vendors (EC-Council, CompTIA, ISACA, etc.), you are likely to earn a much higher salary.
