Microsoft Announces New Windows 10 MCSA Certification

Microsoft has announced a couple of new Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows 10 certification exams. Previously Microsoft announced Exam Exam 697: Configuring Windows Devices. Now Microsoft has announced the path to MCSA: Windows 10 certification for IT professionals by adding two Windows 8.1 exams to the list. To become an MCSA in Windows 10, you will be required to prove your expertise in configuring, managing, and maintaining a Windows 10 enterprise system. Microsoft is offering the following three exams to help you achieve MCSA: Windows 10 status.

No, it's not a typo on my part. You need to pass two Windows 8.1 exams to become an MCSA in Windows 10. Microsoft hasn't said what will happen in July 2016 when two of the three Windows 8.1 exams listed above will retire. None of the three exams mention "Windows 10" in their description. The exams are usually $150 in United States. The MCSA: Windows 10 certification will be available on December 14, 2015.
