Virtual PC 2004 is Now Free

In order to gain momentum in the virtualization market, Microsoft has decided to give away Virtual PC for free. Microsoft is also offering the free download of Virtual PC 2007, with support for Windows Vista in 2007. Here’s the scoop.

Virtual Server 2005 R2 from Microsoft
Virtual PC 2004 from Microsoft
VMware Server from EMC

NOT FREE:
VMware Workstation from EMC
Parallels Desktop for Mac from Parallels
Virtual PC for Macs from Microsoft
