Who knows what the future holds, but here&#8217;s something amazing from <a href=\"http:\/\/gigapan.org\/viewGigapan.php?id=15374\">GigaPan.org<\/a>. It shows the incredible panoramic view of <a href=\"http:\/\/gigapan.org\/viewGigapan.php?id=15374\">President Barack Obama&#8217;s inauguration<\/a> on January 20, 2009.<\/p>\n<p>The GigaPan Epic is a robotic camera mount that captures gigabit images. The Epic makes it easy to create incredibly detailed panoramas, and works seamlessly with the GigaPan Stitcher. The Epic allows you to capture brilliant high resolution panoramas with most point and shoot cameras. You can use your scroll button on your mouse plus click-and-drag to look at the panoramic view from different angles.<\/p>\n<p>According to the photographer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.davidbergman.net\/p\/gigapan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">David Bergman<\/a>, &#8220;I made this Gigapan image from the north press platform during President Obama&#8217;s inaugural address at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC on January 20, 2009. It&#8217;s\u00a0made up of 220 images and the final image size is 59,783 X 24,658 pixels or 1,474 megapixels.&#8221; David pointed out that there were a few known stitching errors in this image. He posted a new version of the photo with most of the stitching errors corrected.
