There are several features and functionalities in Windows Server 2012 R2 Preview that have either been removed or are planned for removal in subsequent releases (\u201cdeprecated\u201d). Here’s a quick reference table that you may find useful. For more detail on this topic, please visit Microsoft’s Web site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Keep in mind that at the time of writing this list was based on Windows Server 2012 R2 Preview edition and it is subject to change in a subsequent release.<\/p>\n

The TechNet article<\/a> explains why some of the features have been removed or the workarounds for them.
