Telnet Client is not installed by default on Windows\u00a07, Windows Server\u00a02008\u00a0R2, Windows\u00a0Vista, or Windows Server\u00a02008. To install Telnet Client by using a command line.<\/p>\n

  1. Open a command prompt window. Click Start<\/strong>, type cmd<\/strong> in the Start Search<\/strong> box, and then press ENTER<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Type the following command: pkgmgr \/iu:”TelnetClient”.<\/li>\n
  3. If the User Account Control<\/strong> dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. When the command prompt appears again, the installation is complete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
