Microsoft is working on a pretty cool feature in Excel. The feature will allow you to insert data from a picture into Excel. According to Microsoft<\/a>, this feature will work on Excel for iPhone, Excel of Androids, and Excel for Android Tablets.<\/p>\n

Here’s how you’ll be able to turn your picture data into an Excel table.<\/p>\n

  1. You will open Excel and click on the Insert data from picture<\/strong> button on the Excel ribbon.<\/li>\n
  2. Let’s say you want to copy the data from a printed paper. Take a picture of the spreadsheet, or portion of data, that you want to insert into Excel.

  3. Excel’s AI engine will process the image and convert it to an Excel table.<\/li>\n
  4. If there are any issues with the picture you will be able to correct it by clicking Edit<\/strong>, otherwise you will click Ignore<\/strong> to proceed.<\/li>\n
  5. Press Insert<\/strong> and your data will show up in Excel. Pretty cool, eh?
